“I didn’t eat so as not to gain weight”: after a festive performance in the Moscow circus, a tightrope walker who weighed 40 kg died (6 photos + 2 videos)
Doctors tried to help the girl, but to no avail.
They say correctly that anorexia is a mental illness. A person thinks that he is too fat, and as a result, he starts refusing to eat and doing other tricks to avoid gaining weight. 22-year-old tightrope walker Vlada was in excellent shape three years ago. And then the athletic and fit girl with a beautiful figure began to lose weight. Circus performers working at heights, of course, need to be light and flexible, but the girl’s thinness already looked unnatural.
Vlad three years ago
The girl’s colleagues say that she ate little and was also taking weight loss medications. Circus director Zapashny denies this information, because all performers undergo a medical examination before going on stage, and Vlada was in good shape.
On March 9, Morozova was busy in 2 performances, but only performed in one. After the performance (in the video she is the third girl crawling out of the magician’s box), Vlada went backstage and fainted.
“The uniform guy immediately jumped up, picked her up, shouted: “Doctor!” And he ran towards the medical office. Vlada was in a crumpled state, and our doctor on duty called an ambulance,” says Zapashny.
They tried to resuscitate the girl for three hours:
“They performed direct heart massage, connected her to various devices, and fought for her life,” says the circus director.
Then it was decided to take Vlada by ambulance to the First City Hospital. However, they couldn’t help her there either.
The moment the artist was hospitalized
According to Telegram channel 112, the circus performer died of hypoglycemia, but Zapashny denies this information.
Meanwhile, a low level of glucose in the blood can occur due to other physiological reasons (in the case of Morozova - long-term fasting + strict diet + excessive exercise), also due to stress or dehydration, or due to pathological processes: diabetes mellitus, liver diseases and Gastrointestinal tract.
The exact cause of the girl’s death will most likely not be publicly disclosed, but her desire to lose weight was no secret to any of Morozova’s colleagues. And the latest photos of the artist speak for themselves.
Edgar Zapashny found it necessary to record a video message in which he spoke about what happened.
