A cleaner found a baby in the women's restroom at the Antalya airport in Turkey. The newborn baby was lying right in the toilet, he was still covered in blood, because he was born just recently. The cleaner immediately reported everything to the security service. The police quickly detained the woman who was trying to escape. It turned out that the detainee was 28-year-old Ekaterina Burnaskina, a native of Russia. After giving birth, she stood in line to board the plane with her mother as if nothing had happened, local TV channel T24 reported.
The police detained the women. They were immediately placed in custody. While they were being caught, the child was transferred to the mother and child room, where an ambulance arrived. The baby has now been hospitalized and will remain there until his condition stabilizes. The young mother was also taken to the hospital. She was given assistance and then transported to the police station.
A criminal case has been opened against the woman. At the trial, she stated that she only found out about her pregnancy at the airport.
