Brothers resisted police arrest at Manchester Airport. Video captured the men beating up law enforcement officers.
Two brothers got into a fight at a European airport, beat up police officers and were caught on video.
The fight took place at Manchester Airport back in 2024 on July 23, but the CCTV footage was only shown to the jury in court now. The footage shows two men actively resisting arrest and beating up police officers. The brothers' mother, who was standing next to them, was also caught in the crossfire.
The police were called to detain 20-year-old Mohammed Fakhir Amaz, who head-butted a passenger at a Starbucks cafe in the arrivals area. During the arrest, the man struck the officers ten times, and his 26-year-old brother Muhammad Amad hit the officers six times, he is also under investigation. As a result of the fight, one emergency response officer had his nose broken.
Officer Zachary Marsden, who grabbed Amaz, told the court the young man also tried to pull his gun from its holster. Both brothers deny assault charges. The trial continues.
