A tragic and outrageous episode recently occurred in Las Vegas. A man called the police because of a girl who broke into his home with a knife. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and... shot him.

Last week, 43-year-old Brandon Durham called 911 and reported that he was at home with his 15-year-old daughter and they heard gunfire outside. Durham then said that unknown people entered the house through the back door and he hid in the bathroom.

When the police arrived at the scene, they heard screams. The 26-year-old officer walked into the hallway and saw a man and a woman struggling with each other, trying to take the knife from each other. The officer shot the man and killed him on the spot. The deceased was Brandon Durham. He was fighting with a woman he had previously been in a relationship with. The woman was not injured and was charged with home invasion with a weapon, child abuse and domestic violence. Authorities are investigating the incident.
