In India, a man was standing with a dog near his home when he was attacked by several relatives of his neighbor.

The dog barked at passers-by and then bit a neighbor who was passing by. After this, the victim’s relatives attacked the pet’s owner and struck him several dozen times. The dog owner's wife and mother rushed to the man's rescue and were also caught in the attack. One of the attackers was also seen hitting the dog several times, which required veterinary attention.

According to media reports, there has been a long-standing confrontation between neighboring families, so the dog bite was another reason to punish the neighbor. The owner of the four-legged pet, after receiving medical care in the hospital, returned home the next day. The attackers were detained. According to Indian law, all participants in the beating can face long prison terms for attempted murder.
