A pack of dogs attacked a girl in Russia
In Igarka, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a pack of dogs attacked an 11-year-old girl. At first, two dogs began to show aggression towards the schoolgirl, but then several more four-legged dogs came running to their barking. The animals knocked the girl to the ground and began to bite her. Fortunately, the girl’s father was nearby.
The regional investigative committee said that on the day of the attack, the schoolgirl was walking with her dad. A man entered the entrance to give a letter to a friend and heard the girl’s heart-rending screams. The head of the family rushed to the rescue and scared off the pack.
The girl is now being treated at home. A criminal case of negligence has been opened. Investigators will determine the severity of the harm the child received and give a legal assessment of the activities of local government officials and those responsible for organizing the capture and maintenance of stray animals. It is believed that the attacking dogs were domestic dogs.
