A woman spoke about her struggle with size 18 breasts, which do not stop growing due to a rare disease (5 photos)
She also complained that she turns down up to 40 date requests every day.
Paige Amelia, 29, struggles with gigantomastia, which causes her breast tissue to grow rapidly. Despite the financial burden, Paige manages to make ends meet by earning over $360,000 a year on the adult subscription platform, where many fans are stunned by her ample bosom.
However, she suffers from severe back pain and worries that her breast reduction surgery may be in vain if they grow back.
Paige is inundated with messages from haters and spends her days explaining that her bust is natural amid accusations of "plastic surgery."
She also turns down up to 40 requests for dates every day. Paige shared: "The growth is sporadic - sometimes it stops and then suddenly my boobs grow a lot in a month. I try to buy stretchy tops so there's more room when they grow, but I'm always on the hunt for new clothes. Replacements cost a fortune. And I have to have my bras custom-made - about $280 AUD a pop. But I just have to live with it."
Her boobs started getting bigger when she was 25 and haven't stopped since.
Causes of gigantomastia range from hormonal changes to medications to autoimmune conditions, but the exact cause of Paige's case remains a mystery.
From January 2022 to September 2022, Paige's bust increased from 100 cm to 114 cm. By May 2023, it reached 139 cm and is 143 cm
Despite earning significant income from the erotic platform, she faces numerous challenges including physical discomfort, online harassment, and social stigma.
Paige expressed her concerns, saying: "I feel like having bigger boobs makes you sexier. I don't like wearing tight clothes in public because I get looks, especially from other women. I feel like I have this constant pressure to please everyone and I can't wear what I want because I'm paranoid about people looking at me."
She is considering breast reduction surgery, which would cost her around A$10,000 ($6,100) with the Australian health system, but she worries that the surgery may not be effective and will not stop her breasts from growing.
Paige said: "I'm worried they'll grow back to the same size and I'll have wasted my money. It's not guaranteed that the surgery will stop them from growing."
