A resident of the capital, who has not left his apartment on the street for 10 years, has worsened heart problems. The doctors insisted on hospitalization, however, it took a whole special operation to bring the patient to the clinic. 
54-year-old Maxim complained of heart pain. The emergency doctor diagnosed him with heart failure and an abscess in the lower abdomen. The patient required hospitalization, but this was not so easy.
Maxim is overweight, and for the last three years after suffering from Covid he has not gotten out of bed at all. The man's 24-year-old son is caring for him, but even with his help, the obese patient would not be able to get up and walk to the ambulance.
Rescuers had to think through the details of hospitalization. It was decided to take the man out of the apartment through the window - fortunately, his apartment is located on the 1st floor.
I had to cut down the bars, remove the window frame, and then try to pull the patient out through the opening.
The evacuation took about four hours. It involved two crews from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a high-capacity ambulance.
The man was loaded into the ambulance right on the mattress he was lying on at home. It is reported that he was taken to City Hospital No. 13. His son got into the ambulance with him. We hope that the patient will recover and return home under his own power (can one dream?!)
