In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, police stormed the apartment in which a woman was being held. 
Today, March 22, the city police received a call that in a house on the street. Kronotskaya, 12, a man is holding his partner by force. He threatens to kill the hostage, follows her with a knife and does not let her out of the apartment. Neighbors heard screams and called the police.
Negotiations with the security forces did not lead to anything - the man simply did not communicate with law enforcement officers. The ex-soldier, who returned from the Northern Military District zone on March 5, refused to open the door, so the decision was made to storm the apartment.
It was decided to rescue the victim through the balcony.
The security forces' assault was watched from the sidelines - the house was cordoned off until the operation was completed.
As the TASS agency reports, citing the local Ministry of Internal Affairs, the rescue of the hostage was successful. The attacker was detained and taken away for interrogation.
According to the Baza Telegram channel, the invader is a 32-year-old man who was previously convicted of causing grievous bodily harm.
