After serving his sentence, Lu decided to seek justice. However, several appeals he filed were rejected by the intermediate court.

And only in January of this year, 2024, the Supreme Court of Shandong Province acquitted the cuckold, ruling that he received money from Liu not as a result of blackmail and extortion, but as a result of negotiations.



In addition, the court ruled that Liu violated public order, good customs and moral standards by sleeping with someone else's wife. However, for some reason, no punishment was imposed on him.
