The real drama with the dead and injured unfolded in the city of Glazov (Udmurtia). Jealousy and vodka were to blame for the tragedy.





On April 13, 37-year-old Alexey came to his friends, Andrey and Svetlana. They had a stormy feast and overdid it with strong drinks so that everyone was drawn to sleep. The owner of the apartment was the last one to go to bed when he noticed that his wife was sleeping on his marital bed, and that same friend was reclining next to her.

Angry, the drunk man decided to take revenge. He set the bed on fire and then went into another room.



Ironically, friend Alexey turned out to be the most sober of the group, and he managed to escape, but the damned apartment burned down along with its owners.



Both the arsonist and his wife died in the fire, unable to escape from the blazing trap. Emergency Situations Ministry employees had to evacuate the residents of the upper floors of the high-rise building (an apartment on the 6th floor was on fire); the apartment, with an area of 40 square meters, burned out almost completely.



The glazing of a neighboring property was also damaged.



Fire extinguished 8 units. equipment and 19 people, and an investigation is now underway as part of a criminal case into the deaths of people in the fire. Law enforcement agencies have not yet commented on the cause of the fire, and a number of media outlets have shared versions of the arson out of feelings of jealousy, citing their own sources.
