A daring robbery attempt in New York City ended in complete failure. A lawyer and purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu, while having lunch at Taco Bell, did not hesitate to fight off a thief who tried to snatch his phone. You have to see it!
Kyle, 28, was enjoying a cheese quesadilla when a man tried to steal his cell phone. But he clearly didn't know who he was dealing with.
"He wanted my phone. He came up behind me and asked for money. I said no, and then he started ripping the phone out of my hands."

As the CCTV footage shows, Kyle reacted instantly. Without thinking, he grabbed his attacker, threw him to the floor, and showed him who was boss. After a brief scuffle, he released the thief, who quickly retreated. The athlete-lawyer stayed behind, waiting to see if he would return for a rematch, but the attacker never showed up.
"He was like, 'I'm fine, I'm fine.' I figured he just wanted my phone and didn't want to fight anymore, so I let him go."

It turns out that Kyle has been practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu since 2018, and is now a purple belt (the middle adult rank). Apparently, the robber didn't expect his victim to be such a skilled fighter.

Don't underestimate your dining guests, especially if they have martial arts skills!
