Dental implants made me a monster: the model spoke about her terrible experience (4 photos + 1 video)

Jessica Mako claims that despite doctors' warnings about possible bruising, she did not expect the pain to be so "severe" or the bruising to be so severe.





Model Jessica Macko, 44, from San Antonio, Texas, complained of "agonizing" pain because an eating disorder she had when she was younger had "destroyed" all her teeth.

The publication notes that in April the woman decided to get All-on-4 dental implants to solve her current dental problems. This is a procedure in which a set of four dental implants replaces "loose, rotten, missing or failing teeth."

Although doctors warned her about bruises, Jessica didn't expect the pain to be so "severe" or the bruises to be so severe.

Just four days after the procedure, Mako posted a video of her face and stated that she looked like a "monster" and asked others to reach out to her if they had ever had a similar reaction to the procedure.



Dark purple bruises appeared on her neck and chin and spread across her face, getting worse by the hour, even reaching her eyes. Now that the bruising and swelling have significantly reduced after two weeks, the mother-of-three would still recommend the procedure as she believes her severe bruising is a "unique" case.



"The doctors said I would have bruises. The day after I got the implants, my face became very swollen, and the next day the bruises started. I was very scared. Every hour it got worse and worse. It seemed that “My face was a Rorschach test, like ink blots. I’m prone to severe bruising, but I’ve never experienced anything like this before,” Jessica said about her experience.

The woman added that since she is an artist, it was interesting to see herself in such an image, but on the other hand it was terrible, since she had never seen such bruises on someone’s face before.



“My advice to others who are thinking about dental implants is that it is a great option, it helps a lot of people and I would definitely recommend it, and that my case was simply unique. I 100% recommend the surgery,” concluded Mako .
