In Germany, an underage prisoner was in an intimate relationship with two prison employees (2 photos)
Ahmad J., originally from Iraq, is serving a three-year sentence in a youth prison in Schleswig (Schleswig-Holstein) for causing serious bodily harm, kidnapping with extortion, aggravated robbery, resisting law enforcement officers, threatening behavior and offensive behavior.
The young man, who is now 18 years old, is suspected of having affairs with two female prison employees at the same time - a prison psychologist and a department head.
Both are said to have had sexual relations with the then 17-year-old for several months. Each apparently considered herself the only woman in the prisoner's life.
The prison scandal also caused a political stir: the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament had to deal with it at a meeting of the Interior and Justice Committee.
The accused members of the judiciary are no longer allowed to enter the prison. The head of the department was suspended from work, the psychologist resigned. Both women are believed to have advocated for the early release of the prisoner.
The day before the prisoner was due to be released, a search warrant was brought to him. In wiretapped conversations with Ahmad J., the head of the department said that she did not care about her job and was not afraid of losing it. She even reportedly told her family about her love for the prisoner.
The prison psychologist and the head of the department are now charged with corruption, and Ahmad J. is also under investigation for corruption (up to five years in prison in each case).
