The 26-year-old Briton died on October 13 in Talavera de la Reina. Turcit fell from the Castilla-La Mancha bridge, which is 192 meters high at its highest point.
According to local media, emergency services arrived at the scene: national and local police, fire service and ambulance.
The call came in at 7:14 a.m., but all doctors could do was confirm his death.
Macarena Muñoz, the security adviser, reminded that climbing the bridge is strictly prohibited, and the authorities have repeatedly said so.
"As we were able to find out, the man came to Talavera to climb the bridge and make content for social networks, which led to a tragic outcome."
A spokesman for the National Police in Toledo said the 26-year-old Briton was 40-50 metres up when he fell and that neither he nor his 24-year-old companion were wearing safety equipment.
The man's friend was "in shock and unable to speak" when authorities arrived. No charges are planned against him, but the local mayor's office will decide on penalties for illegal ascent.
The bridge in Castilla-La Mancha opened in 2011. Locals consider it a waste of money and have nicknamed it the "bridge to nowhere".
