In the city of Maltby, UK, a robber attacked an elderly man in a laundromat and encountered unexpected resistance.

84-year-old Ron Crocker was drying his laundry in the laundromat in the morning, when suddenly a robber in a mask and hood burst in. He began to threaten the pensioner and demand money from him. According to Crocker, he assumed that the robber had a knife, so he grabbed his jeans from a pile of laundry, wrapped them around his hand and attacked in response.

“I’ve earned money all my life. He’s not going to get it,” Crocker recalls thinking during the fight. The robber continued to demand his wallet and swear, but the pensioner managed to push him towards the door. According to the elderly man, the attacker was unable to stay on his feet and fell onto the road. When Crocker thought the fight was over, the robber tried to attack him again. However, the pensioner fought him off again, and the criminal escaped. The fight between the men was captured on video.
