Airport incident: woman embarrassed by non-standard "adult toy" (3 photos)
A woman got a real shock at the airport when her Diablo III power bank was mistaken for something completely different.
While going through hand luggage control, airport security detained the woman and asked her several unpleasant questions. Security mistook the power bank, intended for charging a phone, first for a knife, and then for a sex toy.
The woman shared this story on the social network X, posting a photo of her power bank. She admitted that this incident will haunt her for a long time. In her post, she described traveling with a backpack containing a Diablo III-themed power bank.
"I was stopped at security and asked if I had a knife. Of course, I didn't. Then they awkwardly asked if I had a 'masturbation device' in my backpack. I was horrified. Turns out it was my Blizzcon-exclusive Diablo III Soulstone Power Bank," she wrote.
The story has sparked a wave of comments. One user wrote, "This is pretty funny. Sounds awful," to which the author replied, "10/10, this is going to haunt me for a while." Another user joked, "The person who asked this was probably hoping you'd say a knife so they wouldn't have to ask the next question." Some users found the story familiar, sharing similar stories.
The Diablo III Soulstone Power Bank is still available at select online retailers in the US. The official product description reads: "Not only is this power bank useful, it's sure to turn heads wherever it's used. Simply press the button to illuminate the translucent Soulstone and make this stunning replica stand out in your office or wherever you are."
