French student commits suicide after unsuccessful beard hair transplant (4 photos)
The poor guy was finished off by the fact that the operation was performed not by a qualified surgeon, but by a realtor.
24-year-old Mathieu Latour wanted to have a beautiful beard. He found out that in Turkey, hair transplantation on the face is much cheaper than in France. He did not think long and went to the Turkish coast. He found a clinic that seemed to be reliable, paid 1300 euros for the procedure (5 times less than he would have paid for a hair transplant in France). The operation went well overall, but then complications arose.

Latour's father says that his hair started growing strangely, and felt like hedgehog spines.
And the occipital region, from where they took hair for transplantation, continued to become inflamed and did not heal. The guy went to French doctors, who added stress, saying that he had ruined the skin on the back of his head and it could not be restored.
After this, Mathieu fell into depression, and three months later committed suicide in a student dormitory. The French are so tender these days.
