The incident occurred on March 25 in Ghaziabad during a religious gathering in the Gagan Vihar area. A 28-year-old man named Shavez was responsible for baking roti in a tandoor and spat on the dough in front of the camera. The video quickly spread on social media, outraged users, and eventually local residents filed a complaint against Shavez with the police.
As a result, a criminal case was opened against the man under sections 271 and 272 of the Indian Penal Code. He was charged with negligence and committing a malicious act resulting in the spread of a life-threatening infection. The defendant is already under arrest.
