College girls in India reported an unpleasant discovery to the staff. The toilet of the school was taken over by snakes.

The incident took place at the government college Cheyyar Anna in Tamil Nadu, India. The students went into the girls' toilet and found dozens of small snakes. They filmed the reptiles and posted it on social media. The video quickly went viral after it was reposted by Indian composer Prakash Kumar. He expressed his outrage at the unsanitary conditions in the government educational institution.

The college where the incident took place has more than a thousand students. They had previously complained about the dirt and said that the toilets were rarely cleaned, and the adjacent territory of the educational institution was overgrown with bushes in which snakes live. The students demanded that the administration take emergency measures to make the college premises safe.
