A man hit a comedian several times for making an offensive comment about his son.
In Spain, a man drove several hours to punish a step-dapper who insulted his young son online.
In Spain, an angry spectator came to a stand-up comedian's performance and hit him several times in front of the audience.
The incident caught on video took place in Madrid on the evening of June 3. Comedian Jaime Caravaca was performing a monologue when a man jumped on stage and punched him in the face. The stand-up huddled in a corner, and his attacker began shouting: “This is for pedophile comments about my son! Will you repeat what you said about him to my face? You piece of shit! He’s only three months old!”
After that, the man apologized to the audience, said that he was “just a father who protects his child,” gave the comedian another slap in the face and left. It was later revealed that the attacker's name was Alberto Pugilato. The day before, he posted a photo on social media with his three-month-old son. Caravaca came to the comments and wrote: “It is quite possible that your son will become gay.” The comedian went on to suggest that the boy would eventually engage in sexual relationships with black men. This angered Pugilato.
After the incident, the police came to the club, but Caravaca did not write a statement against his offender. Pugilato turned out to be a fairly famous musician. He has been described in the Spanish press as a person of extreme right-wing views, who often speaks negatively about illegal immigration and members of the LGBT community. Caravaca, on the other hand, is known for his extremely liberal views.
The evening after the conflict, Pugilato posted a photo from the restaurant and captioned it: “Resting after a job well done.”
