On Monday, a fight broke out on United Nigeria Airlines flight UN0523 between blogger Matins Otse, known by the pseudonym "Very Dark Man," and comedian Freed Acepoyi, aka Mr. Jollof. The incident occurred during landing at Asaba International Airport in Nigeria. Footage shows the men exchanging blows in the aisle of the Airbus A320.

Airline spokesperson Chibuike Uloka stated: "The crew acted quickly and professionally in accordance with international aviation safety protocols." The passengers were immediately removed from the flight to protect the remaining passengers and crew."

Two offenders remain in custody. The flight departed Asaba for Lagos' Murtala Mohammed Airport at 9:47 a.m. and arrived at 10:33 a.m. local time.

The reasons for the conflict are still unknown. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has launched an investigation into the incident.

This year, the NCAA temporarily suspended musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshelu from flying due to inappropriate behavior.

And in August, on an Ibom Air flight, a passenger punched a flight attendant in the face.

The conflict erupted on a domestic flight from Lagos to Uyo. While still on the runway, flight attendants asked the woman to turn off her phone. She didn't respond to requests, and when she was escorted out of the cabin, she slapped the flight attendant.

The attendant calmly says, "She's hitting me. She's fucking hitting me." Meanwhile, her attacker screams, "What have you done?"

Ground crew and security surround the unruly passenger on the runway. She swings her purse at them, and her wig flies off. They push the troublemaker into the bus, but even there she doesn't calm down.

The pilot refused to continue the flight and returned to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport terminal.

Michael Achimugu, Director of Public Relations and Consumer Protection at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nigeria, reminded: "When flight attendants ask you to turn off your phone, just comply. I can't understand why simple, routine questions lead to such incidents. Passengers need to understand that they have responsibilities, not just rights."
