An Ibiza resident has criticized the rowdy behavior of the British, calling them wild animals. She posted a video of the incident, which took place on May 16 on an EasyJet flight from London to the Spanish island.

Erica Barrachina shared a video, expressing dissatisfaction that the British were allowed on board the plane at all.

"My flight from London to Ibiza was a nightmare," she captioned the post, showing tourists who were rowdy for two and a half hours.

"I was scared. A plane full of real English animals. They were standing, screaming, fighting, drinking one bottle after another and preventing the flight attendants from doing their job. It was hell."

Erica saw passengers drinking before takeoff and insists that "this should not be allowed."

"We cannot allow such rabble on the plane and sell alcohol on board. We do not want Ibiza to be associated with this kind of tourism. They should stay at home," she told Diario de Ibiza.

The traveler complained to the flight attendants. According to her, they asked some passengers for documents, but in response they heard: "Fuck off".

"I felt really bad, and the flight attendants couldn't do anything. How can you control these wild animals? I'm not afraid of flying, because I've traveled all over the world. But I had a panic attack. It was like a pub, a nightclub, only in the air. The video shows the end of the flight, because I was unable to film the beginning."

An easyJet spokesman said the rowdy passengers were met by police at Ibiza airport.

"Flight EZY2307 from Luton to Ibiza on 16 May was met by police following disruptive passenger behaviour. The safety and comfort of passengers and crew is easyJet's top priority. While such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate disruptive behaviour on board."

Commenting on the video, one user wrote in Spanish: “The worst flight of my life was five hours from Manchester to Tenerife. Everyone was completely drunk and arguing with each other. The pilot threatened to land in Lanzarote. It was terrible. They should ban the sale of alcohol on flights.”

Erica posted the footage on Saturday, a day before thousands took to the streets of the Canary Islands in a new protest against mass tourism. Spaniards blame the tourism sector for rising house prices, pollution and pressure on infrastructure.
