In the US, the first nudist liner set off on an 11-day trip to the Caribbean (3 photos)
For the occasion, the 968-foot Norweigan Peal liner was renamed the Big Nude Boat. The cruise website notes that the ship can accommodate up to 2,300 nudists.
The nude passengers set off from Miami on an 11-day Caribbean voyage with stops in St. Lucia and Martinique.
Prices for the nudist cruise range from $2,000 to $33,000 for a luxury three-bedroom villa.
Passengers must follow certain rules and cannot always go naked. For example, nudists must wear clothes in the ship's indoor dining areas. However, there is a "large buffet for outdoor nude dining."
In addition, for hygiene purposes, nudists will need to lay out a towel before sitting "in the cabin, on the pool deck and in the buffet area."
Another point of the strict rules states that public "fondling or inappropriate touching" is prohibited on board.
