At the 18th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road, a Mercedes truck collided with a parked Sobol minibus, which caught fire from the impact. Two passengers of the minibus, who were unable to get out of the car, died. The driver was hospitalized with burns and in a coma. The moment of the collision was captured on camera. 
Taking into account the position of the prosecutor's office of the South-Eastern Administrative District, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the culprit of the accident, which resulted in the death of two people.
The defendant was charged under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules by a person driving a vehicle, which resulted in the death of two people through negligence). He objected to being taken into custody.
On the evening of July 4, on the outer side of the Moscow Ring Road, the 47-year-old defendant, driving a Mercedes truck, hit a GAZ 2752 vehicle located in the same direction, which caught fire from the impact. As a result of the accident, two passengers of the GAZ vehicle died, and the driver was hospitalized in serious condition.
