In the US, a passenger was taped to her seat after attacking a flight attendant (5 photos + 1 video)
On September 16, an incident occurred on an American Airlines flight from the Dominican resort of Punta Cana to Las Vegas. Katie Jay Dillon paced the cabin, swearing and threatening flight attendants. According to authorities, the crew was forced to restrain her.
After being restrained, the passenger kicked the flight attendant.
In the viral video, Dillon swears and screams that she is in pain.
"You have no idea what I went through, bitch!" the woman screamed at the flight attendant. "Kill yourself, bitch! Do you want to die, bitch?"
Then the passenger unexpectedly confessed that at age 11, she had slipped cockroach poison into her father's coffee.
"It didn't work," she said calmly. "In the Dominican Republic, it's called 'Tres Pasitos.'"
Tres Pasitos—meaning "three steps"—is a pesticide used to kill cockroaches and mice.
Dillon calmed down for a moment, beginning to sing the chorus of the song of the same name in Spanish. But within seconds, she was angry again.
"If you want to kill someone, give them cockroach poison! Just make sure it's fresh and there's plenty of it!" she screamed.
After a brief pause, the woman announced that "the show is over."
The FBI detained Dillon immediately after the plane landed at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 1. If convicted, Dillon faces up to 20 years in prison.
