The daughter of trainer Askold Zapashny received serious injuries. Eva was taken by ambulance to the hospital. 
The 14-year-old daughter of the artistic director of the Bolshoi Moscow Circus was injured at work. Askold Zapashny spoke about what happened.
“Eva fell off her horse for the first time today. Due to an accidental and sudden fall of a horse while performing horseback riding in the show “Legend,” my eldest daughter received a leg injury. Currently, three fractures of the foot bones have been diagnosed. Otherwise, God willing, everything worked out fine,” explained the People’s Artist of Russia.
Askold published a video with his daughter after the fall. Eva smiled at the camera. The trainer noted that the doctors gave the victim an anesthetic injection. The girl was taken to the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology.
Edgard Zapashny showed a video of the incident at the circus arena. “Eve didn’t fall off her horse. She performed elements of horse riding while sitting on a horse. Her horse slipped and fell right on top of the artist. My beloved niece’s leg was caught between the arena and the horse. This is a circus, and this happens!” - said the general director of the Great Moscow State Circus.
