A man stabbed a dog in Russia
A resident of Khimki near Moscow suddenly attacked a dog lying in a store with a knife. The animal suffered injuries to the lung and liver.
The incident occurred at a retail outlet on Akademika Grushina Street. There, a 37-year-old man suddenly attacked the dog with a knife. He also threatened visitors and employees of the shopping center, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region reported.
The animal was taken to the veterinary clinic, and the dog is receiving all the necessary care. The criminal was detained. He said he felt threatened by the dog lying on the floor. Four knives, an air pistol and six pepper sprays were seized from him.
A criminal case was opened against the man under the articles “Cruelty to Animals” and “Threat of Murder or Causing Serious Harm.” Now the police are checking the involvement of the detainee in other criminal episodes.
