A wedding in Egypt turned tragic when the groom lost consciousness and died. The incident occurred on September 25 in Aswan Governorate. The footage shows Ashraf Abu Hakam dancing with his bride, surrounded by friends and family.
The newlyweds wave sticks, performing the traditional Saidi dance. Suddenly, Hakam collapses.
The fun and laughter gave way to shouting, and chaos reigned at the wedding. Guests attempted first aid, but attempts to revive the groom were unsuccessful. Doctors later confirmed he had suffered cardiac arrest.
"He was full of energy, smiling, and excited about his future," shared one friend.
"May God have mercy on him and grant him a place in His heaven," added another.
They had celebrated his engagement the day before. No one could have imagined the tragedy that would strike just a few hours later.

Hakam's death came a week after 26-year-old nurse Adne Rovčanin-Omerbegovic died after her wedding.
On September 13, shortly after the ceremony, she became ill. She was rushed to the hospital. Despite treatment, Adne fell into a coma. She died on September 20.
