A 14-year-old girl died after breast augmentation surgery (4 photos)

Fourteen-year-old Paloma Nicole Arellano Escobedo died after breast augmentation surgery. A week after the procedure, the girl was hospitalized. The cause of death was complications from a respiratory illness.





The girl's father, Carlos Arellano, blames the plastic surgeon for the incident and demands an investigation. He claims he only learned about the surgery at the funeral, when he discovered his daughter's breast implants and scars.



He stated: "The documents falsely listed 'illness' as the cause of death to conceal the truth."

Paloma died in a hospital in Durango, Mexico, on Saturday, September 20.





"They immediately issued us a death certificate. "I don't understand how they managed to process everything so quickly," the father said.

The certificate listed cerebral edema caused by a respiratory illness.

The day after the funeral, Carlos filed a complaint, realizing there was more to his daughter's death.

The Mexican demands that all those responsible be punished.

The prosecutor's office confirmed it is investigating.
