An angry animal attacked a car in which safari lovers were traveling.
On March 30, six tourists, accompanied by a guide, went to Kafue National Park to observe wild animals in their natural habitat. An elephant noticed a car with people. The animal began to chase the car.
The guide tried to drive the elephant away with shouts, but it was uncontrollable. He ran into the car and turned it over with his trunk, after which he continued the attack.

Most of the safari participants escaped with fright, but an 80-year-old American woman had to be hospitalized after such a trip. The woman died from her injuries in hospital.
The CEO of the organizing company, Wilderness Safaris, Keith Vincent, said that the driver on that trip was an experienced pro, but he was unable to take the car with tourists to safety due to dense vegetation that was difficult to overcome.
"Given the nature of the incident, police, the Department of National Parks and Wildlife and other authorities are involved in the investigation of this matter. Wilderness is cooperating with them," he added.
The pensioner's body will be sent home to the United States.
