A beer keg broke a schoolboy's jaw and nearly knocked out his eye

In Tomsk, schoolchildren found a 12-liter plastic beer keg in the courtyard of their house. The guys decided to test its strength and began to take turns throwing it onto the asphalt. When a 10-year-old boy threw it, the keg exploded and flew right into his face.

The child was hospitalized. The victim has an open head injury, splintered fractures of the upper jaw and cheekbone, as well as lacerations to the face.

As the mother of the 10-year-old victim said, the teenagers found a PET keg on the street and began throwing it to each other. The schoolchildren decided to repeat what they saw on the Internet - there are a lot of videos about how such bottles merrily explode due to carbon dioxide under enormous pressure, which stores forget to release before disposal.

The mother is now trying to punish the owners of the keg, which was improperly disposed of without releasing the gas. The police are investigating the incident.
