In Russia, a man lost his legs while trying to get off a moving train

The irony of fate: the victim is a railway worker who begged his colleagues to give him a lift home.

In the Krasnodar Territory, a marshalling yard worker asked an electric locomotive driver to ride as a “hare” from the rear cabin of the locomotive. He couldn't refuse. And then they simply forgot about the man, and he, having reached the station he needed, tried to jump off the train while it was moving, but something went wrong.

The train was moving at a speed of about 25 kilometers per hour, and the poor fellow was pulled under the train. The man was left without legs and is now in intensive care.
