A man without arms and legs is charged with murder
Dayton Webber, an American who lost parts of his arms and legs as a child, shot and killed an acquaintance during an argument in his car. Netizens have wondered how a person with amputated limbs could shoot someone and still drive. It turns out Dayton is a better shot than many healthy people.
A professional cornhole player, who is also a quadruple amputee, is accused of murdering a man in Maryland.
According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, Dayton James Webber was arrested Sunday after witnesses said he shot and killed a passenger in his car earlier that day.
According to the sheriff's office, witnesses were in the backseat when Webber—who they say was driving—argued with the passenger in the front seat. Witnesses told police that's when the 27-year-old man pulled out a gun and fatally shot the passenger. Police say the men were all known to each other.
According to law enforcement, witnesses said Webber stopped his car and asked them to help him remove the body, but they told authorities they refused and got out, while Webber drove away, leaving the alleged victim's body in the car.
Later, police say they received a call about a body in the yard and identified the man as 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells.
Police say they found Webber's car in Charlottesville, Virginia, before locating him at a nearby hospital, where they say he was seeking treatment for a "health issue."
He was arrested in Virginia by the Albemarle County Police Department. Police say he is expected to be extradited back to Maryland, where he will face first- and second-degree murder charges, as well as other charges, according to authorities.
