European tourists robbed an American in Thailand
Thieves knocked an American lawyer to the ground and stole his expensive watch. Footage of the robbery was captured on the car's dashcam.
Europeans robbed an American lawyer under threat of violence.
According to media reports, Ibrahim Iyuna was riding a motorcycle carrying groceries along a Phuket highway when he was struck by a blue Ford Everest SUV. Four European tourists were in the vehicle. Two of them jumped out and pointed a gun and a knife at Iyuna, demanding he hand over his gold Audemars Piguet watch.
Footage of the robbery was captured on the dashcam of a car following the SUV. After the incident, the American ran up to a witness, who confirmed he had recorded the robbery, and drove him to the police station.
That same day, law enforcement officers arrested British citizens. The perpetrators were identified as 26-year-old Hussein Mir, 25-year-olds Mir Wayne Carew and Yann Sarkavt, and 27-year-old Malik Kai Walters. They were charged with robbery, and the stolen watch was returned to its owner.
