In the village of Sarwal in Mandi district (Himachal Pradesh), a conflict erupted between local residents over road widening work. According to media reports, the dispute arose after one side began widening a section of the road independently, sparking protests from the other side.

The situation escalated into a verbal altercation and physical confrontation, after which both sides filed complaints with the police.
