A man in Seattle accidentally set himself on fire after falling asleep by a fire

The incident occurred early Tuesday morning in Seattle's University District. A man fell asleep near a fire, and the flames spread to his clothing. According to police, when they arrived, the man was already on fire and attempting to escape. Police extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher.

The victim suffered severe second-degree burns and was hospitalized in critical condition.
