A 21-year-old protester was blinded in one eye after being shot in the face (2 photos + 1 video)

During a protest in California, 21-year-old Caden Rummler was seriously injured when a rubber bullet struck him in the face, permanently losing the sight in his left eye.





Witnesses note that the shot was fired at close range, without warning or a safe distance. Video footage shows Caden falling, bleeding, and then being led away by a law enforcement officer.

The surgery lasted over six hours. Despite all efforts, his vision was not restored.
