This snail is infected with a parasitic worm known as Leucochloridium paradoxum, and its life is coming to an end

The Leucochloridium larvae have already taken over its body, forcing the snail to ignore its safety and constantly move towards the light. To ensure that the snail is noticed and eaten, the Leucochloridium have developed colorful pulsating tubes in its body, reminiscent of edible caterpillars.
