The tragedy occurred during a performance by a local celebrity at the Rich club in San Luis Potosi. Several hundred people gathered to have fun listening to the music of singer Kevin Moreno.
There were too many people in the cramped room to somehow squeeze in, some of the visitors went out onto the balcony. But it was not designed for such a large number of people in high spirits. At some point, the glass on the balcony broke and the railings broke. As a result, several young people fell from a height of six meters.
As a result of the fall, 2 were killed and 15 were injured. When the club realized what had happened, the crowd began to panic, everyone rushed to the exit, and as a result of the crush, another 20 people were injured. Five of them were seriously injured.
According to local media, most of the visitors were minors, and the establishment did not complete all the necessary documents for the event. The local prosecutor's office began an investigation into the tragedy.
The administration of the establishment refused to comment on the incident and deleted its social networks, thereby causing even greater indignation among residents.
