In the US, a police officer accidentally injured a colleague

One of the police officers decided to play a joke and pointed his service weapon at a fellow officer.
However, the prank quickly got out of hand: the second officer drew his pistol and at some point accidentally pulled the trigger. The bullet went through the car's windshield and hit the officer in the shoulder. The victim survived and fully recovered, and the officer who fired was subsequently dismissed.
