Women in Afghanistan are no longer allowed to talk to each other (5 photos)
Legislatively, the decree was published on the government website, it is now included in the official declaration of the Taliban. Now women in Afghanistan are not allowed to speak publicly among themselves, not only with men.
As always, the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice has come up with a brilliant idea (the dystopian nature of the very name of the ministry is always shocking).
The decree itself reads as follows:
Adult women should not allow other adult women to hear the sound of their voices.
That is, reading the Koran out loud when there are other women around is also prohibited.
What else is prohibited in Afghanistan
21st Century Madness
I have already written about the gradual escalation of prohibitions. So literally before our eyes, all types of work for women were banned.
Then they banned hairdressers, because preening is from the evil one. Then they banned women from going to parks, because the rides make you laugh, and that is a sin. They also banned going to remote natural places for camping, because a woman can take off her burqa on the street, and someone can see her. Or not see what she filmed there! (Can you hear the sound of a fallen pine tree in the Amazon forests, which no one else has heard, as they say?)
The speakers are burning well!
In 2022, education was banned for women, there is no guarantee that new generations of women will even be able to read, let alone more. And a year earlier, any admission to universities for women was banned.
And they also banned everyone from having musical instruments and players, they even collected them all in a big pile and ritually burned them. They left only drums for ritual ceremonies.
What happens if you talk to a friend?
Such a frightened child, it makes my heart ache, he's hiding over there
There is a special punishment in the law for "un-Islamic behavior" - beating with sticks. And in general, women are often punished by being locked in the house. But in fact, not a single even strict Muslim norm has such a rule that a woman cannot talk to another woman on the street!
This is some kind of madness, there is clearly some madman at the helm of Afghanistan, who is leading the country into poverty and a rollback to primitive savagery and level of education.
Before the ban on salons, they first blacked out all the women's faces on the signs, it's so creepy
