A woman with two vaginas complained about problems in her personal life (4 photos)
Porn star Annie Charlotte, who rose to fame thanks to her rare condition uterine didelphys, which means she has two vaginas, two wombs, two cervixes and an ovary on each side, has found that her career and position have made finding a committed partner challenging.
"Dating is definitely a struggle for me," the model admitted. "I'm literally having sex with people on camera and most people see it as cheating. I constantly feel judged because of my work. A lot of the guys I date think I have crushes on the guys I film with. I also feel like my partners are always comparing themselves to the person I’m filming with and then judging me for enjoying it. I’ve had partners look at my footage and say, ‘It looks like you enjoyed sleeping with that guy more than you enjoyed sleeping with me.’”
Annie explained that sex on camera is very different from sex in a relationship, but when people don’t understand that difference, it can cause significant problems.
“People don’t feel comfortable with it, and they don’t date me at all because they can’t get over it,” she said. “My ex broke up with me because he wasn’t comfortable with me doing mainstream content, even though he’s okay with me working online. From the beginning of our relationship, he knew that I wanted to do this, and as my boyfriend, we discussed everything and talked about everything together. The night after my first shoot, he called and said he was breaking up with me. He said he knew he was going to break up with me as soon as I told him about the shoot, but he wanted to enjoy the time he had with me."
Annie said that conversations about her career are inevitable, especially on dating apps where work is often discussed.
"My work is the first thing I tell people about myself because I feel like it's a big decision whether to date a porn star or not," Annie explained. — Asking someone what they do for work is a common question people get asked. It’s not easy for me to avoid. I think if I could avoid it, I would. But on the other hand, it’s a lie, and I’m not a liar. I have people who are physically disgusted by my job, and I can see that it turns them off. But honestly, I love my job, it inspires me, and I’m proud of it.”
She also noted that her situation affects her relationships, often changing the way potential partners perceive her.
"My two vaginas sexualize my relationships very much," she explained. "Because I let people know early on, either they've seen me on the news or they've seen my Instagram*, my relationships start out quite sexually, and it can be quite intense. I feel like because of my situation, the first thing people talk about is sex, and sometimes I just want someone to know about me and not my vaginas."
Annie said her ideal man is someone who is supportive, has a great sense of humor, and makes her happy.
She explained: "I don't expect to go home and tell my partner how my day went on set with another man, but I want to not feel awkward when I go home and talk to him. I'm very proud of who I want to be and I can't wait to achieve it. Men who have an opinion on it - well, I want to be able to achieve all of those things and be proud of myself. So don't ruin that for me."
