A Tennessee resident sued her landlord after an awning collapsed

Elizabeth Keeton of Tennessee claims she suffered a concussion, neck, and pelvic contusions when part of the carport over her rental home collapsed on her and her car.
The landlord refused to pay for medical treatment and car repairs after the accident and then filed a lawsuit demanding that Elizabeth leave the property within 30 days.
She told reporters that due to her injuries, she is now unable to refuel her car and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, waking up at night in tears, reliving the incident.
