The woman was grabbed by the hair and punched in front of other guests.
The woman said the owner of the establishment demanded immediate payment for the dry cleaning of the furniture. The victim explained that she had not refused to compensate for the damage:
"I didn't refuse, I said I'd call my brother, he'd come over, and we'd sort everything out."
According to her, no one waited for their relative. During the confrontation, her cell phone, laptop, and two bags of personal belongings, including her coat, were forcibly taken from her.
What the police said
The investigation revealed that on December 31, 2025, a verbal dispute occurred between the establishment's manager and a customer in a cafe, which escalated into a physical confrontation.
"As a result of the incident, both parties sustained bodily injuries. The investigation revealed that both parties suffered physical injuries. The criminal cases have been sent to court for a procedural decision on January 31, 2026. Police emphasize that any violence in public places is unacceptable and will be subject to a thorough legal assessment," the statement reads.
