A rabid fox attacked a girl in Kazakhstan
A gas station employee in Zhitikara encountered a fox. The animal began to charge her and then chase her. The woman climbed to a higher ground, but this didn't stop the sick predator, who continued to pursue her.
The Zhitikara District Prosecutor's Office reported what happened next:
"Following the incident, the victim went to the emergency room of the Zhitikara District Hospital for a preventative examination. Medical specialists examined her and provided all necessary assistance, including vaccinations. Hospitalization was not required. A working group has been formed and is currently working in the district. It includes representatives of local executive authorities, the prosecutor's office, the police department, the veterinary station, the veterinary inspection, and the hunting society."
