A stray dog ​​defeated an attacking leopard

This leopard mistakenly thought it could safely enter a village in Nashik (Maharashtra, India) and hunt stray dogs.

The predator's chosen prey turned out to be quite the brave one. Despite the leopard's brutal attack and the dog sustaining several wounds, it counterattacked, and soon the large wild "cat" became the victim—the dog dragged it for approximately 300 meters down the street.

The leopard, having escaped its clutches, chose to flee. Its condition is unknown, and forest department officials would like to determine it. As for the dog, although it sustained several wounds, it survived. Overall, the spotted hunter's visit to the village was unharmed, though the leopard's self-esteem was likely damaged.
