Store employees neutralize armed robber
In Brazil, a man wearing a helmet entered a store and, threatening the owner of the store with a gun, demanded that she give him money.
The incident occurred on March 23 in the municipality of Teresina, in the state of Piauí. A man named Anderson Silva arrived at the store on a motorcycle, entered the sales area wearing a helmet and demanded that she give him money.
The woman gave him bills from the cash register, but then quickly grabbed the robber by the hand with the gun. A fight ensued, during which another employee threw the robber to the floor and began to choke him. The store owner tried to snatch the gun from the criminal, but then asked another salesperson to bring her pepper spray and sprayed its contents into Silva's mouth.
The robber soon lost consciousness. The police seized his motorcycle and gun. In addition, Silva was found to have a mobile phone, a necklace and a bank card, which he, as it turned out, had stolen earlier. The attacker was taken to hospital to be revived and then arrested.
