In Brazil, an unarmed man was able to fight off robbers with a gun

This doesn't only happen in action movies: a brave Brazilian took away a gun and punished the criminals.

A brave Brazilian effectively fought off two robbers, managing to take the gun from the attackers and put an end to the criminal path of one of them forever.

The incident occurred late in the evening on August 4 in the city of Guarulhos, located in the state of Sao Paulo. Two robbers on their traditional means of transportation noticed a victim named Otavio Ribeiro on the street. They stopped their motorcycle on the side of the road, after which the passenger pointed a gun at the man and demanded that he empty his pockets.

Otavio gave him his phone, but the robbers thought that was not enough and demanded his wallet. And then the man turned from a victim into a hunter. In a stressful situation, Otavio showed remarkable ingenuity. Having pulled out his wallet and holding it at arm's length, he forced the robber to reach for it. At that moment, he grabbed his hand, which was holding a gun, twisted it, took possession of the weapon, and managed to knock over the criminals' motorcycle at the same time. The former owner of the weapon turned out to be not the smartest and ran at Otavio, receiving fatal wounds from his own gun.

It is reported that the wounded criminal was taken to the hospital, but they could not save him. The robber, by the way, was only 16 years old. The second attacker managed to escape, Otavio had a few bullets left, but he was unable to hit the motorcyclist. The police are currently searching for the robber. As for the hero of the video, Otavio was not charged with any charges, and was released after a conversation with law enforcement officers.
