A young man living in the village of Wussan (Kashmir, India) did not lose his head and rushed to the aid of a young leopard, who was unable to leave the trunk of a 15-meter tree on his own.
The rescuer climbed the tree in front of the crowd and caught the animal, which had previously been hit with a tranquilizer dart.
The zoological service staff, having stretched out nets, were able to prevent the leopard cub from landing hard and, after examining it, released the little predator into its habitat.
The local wildlife community applauded the bravery of the young man, who showed his willingness to help an animal in trouble.
